Therapy

Candidal

Therapy

Topical Clotrimazole 1% cream 12 hourly until symptoms settle

 

For severe symptoms:

Oral Fluconazole 150mg stat

Anaerobic

Therapy

Oral Metronidazole 400mg 12 hourly for 7 days

Or

Oral Co-amoxiclav 375mg 8 hourly for 7 days

Aerobic

Therapy

As per microbiology sensitivities
