Infection anterior to the orbital septum

First line

Therapy

IV Flucloxacillin 1g 6 hourly

Switch to

Oral Flucloxacillin 1g 6 hourly

Penicillin Allergy

Therapy

Vancomycin IV as per guideline

Use preferred calculator on Hospital portal page [intranet access only] or calculator on app for intermittent dosing

then switch to 

Oral Clarithromycin 500mg 12 hourly
