If MRSA suspected or confirmed - Vancomycin IV for 7 days
Post-operative wound infection - clean sites

If IV therapy required or MRSA suspected or confirmed then Vancomcyin IV for 7 days

If collection present - this will require drainage.
Base treatment on sensitivities where available.
Route of infection is dependant on the severity of infection and the ability of the patient to take medication by the oral route
