First Line

Therapy

Flucloxacillin 1g IV 6 hourly

Penicillin Allergy

Therapy

Clarithromycin 500mg PO or IV 12 hourly

 

If breast feeding

Clindamycin 600mg PO or IV 8 hourly

If severe

Vancomycin IV as per protocol

Treatment duration: 7 days
