Co-amoxiclav 1.2g IV 8 hourly

Notes:

If felt atypical cover is required (e.g. poor response on co-amoxiclav alone, social/animal exposure) ADD either:

Doxycycline 200mg PO stat then 100mg daily

or

Clarithromycin 500mg IV 12 hourly (if oral route not suitable)

Levofloxacin 500mg PO/IV 12 hourly
